Electronic Engineering

Your local electronics engineering industry needs you! There is a huge demand for young engineers in the South Wales area.

These courses are available at Levels 2 and 3, allowing full time students to enrol onto the course which is appropriate for their existing qualifications.

Part time courses are also available.

We have sector leading facilities including a digital technology lab sponsored by Whirlpool.

Our students have had success in both local and international competitions including ten category wins in the Engineering Education Scheme Wales, 18 medal wins in SkillsCompetitionWales (winning Bronze, Silver and Gold in the most recent competition) and two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medal win in the WorldSkills UK final.

Five students have become squad members in WorldSkills UK and Rhys Watts was selected to be part of Team UK for WorldSkills’ EuroSkills in Graz.
