Beauty Therapy Treatments Level 3 - Diploma

Key information
- Minimum of three GCSEs grade C or above including Mathematics, English Language and preferably Science or equivalent Essential Skills Wales qualification, plus a related Level 2 qualification
- Applicants whose first language is not English will need to have an ESOL Level 2 qualification.
You will attend college for 17 hours per week.
Continuous practical assessment, exams and written assignments.
This qualification may lead directly into employment as a senior beauty therapist in a beauty salon/spa or self-employment. Further training opportunities include:
- Level 3 Certificate in Microdermabrasion Treatment
- Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling
- Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling.
Learners are required to purchase a kit and a uniform as part of their course. Costs will be confirmed during the interview (funding may be available).
This qualification is based on the beauty therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK's leading professional association, the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) as being fit for purpose for preparing you for a career as a beauty therapist. Holders of this qualification are eligible to become a professional member of BABTAC.
