Students prepare a sweet treat for Christmas
Staff and students from Catering and Hospitality have been very busy gearing up for the festive season. Every student in the department is involved with the preparation and service of Christmas lunch and dinner and the annual Christmas Fayre will be the place to purchase our sought after homemade pickles, chutney and puddings.01

Interactive workshops with a festive flavour
As a direct result of a two-year European Leonardo funded project entitled ‘Sustainability Through Creativity,’ Gower College Swansea recently organised an exhibition for childcare providers in the local area. Colleagues from the sector, as well as children from local nurseries and play groups, visited the interactive exhibition which was designed to showcase the work of the project.27

Dance Showcase 2014
Gower College Swansea and the County Youth Dance Company (CYDC) are pleased to be returning to the Taliesin for a sixth year, showcasing the work of the students and staff. The students are all studying for BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 in Performing Arts or A Level qualifications at Gower College Swansea.24

Global Entrepreneurship Week - where ideas come to life
Staff and students at Gower College Swansea have celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week with a range of events and activities across the campus. The week kicked off with a visit by Art and Design students to Swansea Business Gate and the film set of Da Vinci’s Demons, where they learned all about the kinds of employment opportunities that exist in the film and television industry.21

Double triumph for Netball Academy
