Better Jobs, Better Futures clients thrive at Bevan Buckland
Since the launch of Better Jobs, Better Futures in 2017, the relationship with Chartered Accountants, Bevan Buckland, has continued to go from strength to strength. The firm continually provide fantastic opportunities for our clients and learners and regularly offer insight sessions sharing expert advice and industry knowledge. Over the last 5 years, Bevan Buckland have also attended our annual Recruitment Fairs and taken advantage of guest speaker opportunities at our Futures Academy.

The open evening starts at 5.30pm and will finish at 7.30pm. Please make your way to main reception upon arrival.

Catering students and staff welcomed back catering alumni, Nick Jones, to the College to showcase his culinary skills to the catering students.
Nick, who started his journey at the College studying Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Professional Cookery and finished at Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery (Kitchen and Larder), did a cooking demonstration with students through The Chefs’ Forum Academy.

A team of dedicated staff, totally committed to our mission as an organisation to embrace and develop the learners’ Welsh language skills at all levels. The team manager Lucy Bird is incredibly supportive and encouraging them to build on the bilingual ethos of the College.

Gower College Swansea are excited to have launched the new Pro:Direct South Wales Football Academy, the only Pro:Direct Football Academy in Wales! And trials are coming up later this month.
Established in 2010, Pro:Direct Academies are for young players of all genders. They allow players to train full-time like a pro, with UEFA and FA Licensed coaches, weekly competitive fixtures and pro-level fitness and recovery programmes.

Over 80 students – from Bridgend College, Cardiff and Vale College, Coleg Cambria, Coleg Gwent, Coleg Sir Gar, Coleg Y Cymoedd, NPTC Group, St David's College and Ysgol Pen Y Bryn - took part in a variety of competitions on the day in coding, cyber security, networking, IT tech support and inclusive skills
