Overview
This 10-week introductory course is designed for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of tiling, such as how to tile a wall. Whether you’re a beginner, DIY enthusiast or considering a career in construction, you’ll gain the essential skills and confidence to complete basic tiling projects safely and professionally.
What you’ll learn:
- Understanding different tile types and their uses
- Preparing surfaces for tiling
- Measuring, marking, and planning layouts
- Cutting tiles using hand and power tools
- Applying adhesive and setting tiles correctly
- Grouting and finishing techniques
- Basic repairs and maintenance
- Health and safety practices on site.

No entry requirements.
The course is delivered in our workshop in Jubilee Court, it is a hands-on practical course.
You can enrol on other courses in out Get Started series; plastering, carpentry, brickwork or plumbing.
You will need to wear safety boots and appropriate clothing for a workshop setting.
