Jubilee Court
One day
Telephone: 01792 284400 (Jubilee Court)

Overview

This practical workshop introduces Microsoft 365 apps and how they can be used day to day to support teaching, learning and collaborative working. The session will explore a range of tools including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Sway, Teams, Loop, OneNote and Forms, along with an overview of how desktop and online versions can be used effectively together.

Participants will get hands-on time to understand how these apps link together to support communication, resource creation, organisation and teamwork. The focus will be on practical use, showing how to store and share files, create engaging learning materials, manage group work and gather feedback using simple digital workflows.

  • OneDrive: Used to store, share and access files securely from anywhere.
  • Word: Support the creation of structured documents and resources.
  • PowerPoint: Used to design and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Sway: Allows users to create more dynamic, web-based content quickly and easily.
  • Teams: Explored as a hub for communication, meetings and collaboration.
  • Loop: Support shared working on live, editable content. OneNote: Used for organising notes, ideas and resources in a flexible digital notebook.
  • Forms: Used to quickly create surveys, quizzes and feedback tools.

The workshop is aimed at those who already use Microsoft 365 in their day-to-day work and want to build confidence and efficiency across the tools. It will help participants make better use of existing features, discover useful functions they may not currently be using, and develop more streamlined ways of working across the platform.
