Course Overview

This one-year course will introduce students to the catering and hospitality industry through preparation and cooking of a range of dishes along with the service of food and beverages.

These skills will be developed in our training kitchens and Vanilla Pod restaurant.

You will also have the opportunity to improve your maths, English, digital literacy and employability as part of this course.

Elements of this course can be taught in Welsh.

Students can purchase dishes cooked in practical sessions at a reasonable price.

Students should be aware that additional items of uniform may need to be purchased during the course. These items can be purchased directly from the supplier.

Suggested books can be found in the Library. Students can purchase their own copies from a recommended supplier.
