ESOL students walk for Care International

Thanks to everyone who supported the ESOL team's annual 'Walk in her Shoes' sponsored stroll for Care International - staff and students braved the rain to walk from Llwyn y Bryn to Brynmill, then Singleton, the seafront (Oystermouth Rd) and back again.

So far they have raised £351.43 - which is a fantastic achievement.

ESOL students 'walk in her shoes'

ESOL staff and students from Gower College Swansea have completed a sponsored walk for the 'Walk in Her Shoes' campaign, to coincide with International Women’s Day.

Around 60 students walked from the Llwyn y Bryn campus to Brynmill and Singleton Parks and then along Swansea Bay, through the city centre and back again.

They raised £265.50 for Care International UK and the money will go towards accessing clean water for women and girls living in extreme poverty around the world.
