Double triumph for Netball Academy

It’s been a busy week for Gower College Swansea’s Netball Academy as they have won not one but two major Welsh tournaments.

The team took the title at the recent Welsh Colleges and Urdd tournaments, making them the double Welsh champions.

“This is an amazing achievement and we are all absolutely delighted,” says Coach Sarah Lewis. “The girls have been working exceptionally hard towards this success, juggling netball training with their academic studies, and these results are a real testament to their dedication."

The team is also through to the second round of the British Colleges Cup and, next year, will participate in both the President's Cup and the British Colleges tournament, where they will represent Wales.
